In this earring, five beakers join to suggest a fan-like shape, with pearls culminating at the ends. With its myriad of references, the fan can strike tones from demure Victorian ladies to the 19th century decoration of Maharaja’s and their consorts, or the sweet, sharp rays of a lustrous sun.
