The Awning is an original framed artwork on paper by London-based artist Sophie Lourdes Knight. Sophie uses acrylics and a variety of tools to build a narrative arc with each of her paintings. Isolated space exudes expectant energy and her loose objects and characters depict themes of familiarity, sentiment, and the bizarre.
The artist’s signature, details, and location (Los Altos, CA 2018) are on the back of the painting for authenticity.
