Description
Circa 1900. This fabulous 14KT gold Victorian necklace features briolette-cut amethyst teardrops with pearl accents. Briolette jewelry was popular during the Victorian and Edwardian eras, but the style dates back to at least the 17th century. They were especially fashionable in royal jewelry (Marie Antoinette famously owned diamond briolettes). The chain measures 15 inches in length.
