Circa 1880. Each of these gorgeous silver-topped 14KT yellow gold Victorian earrings features a bezel set old European-cut diamond at the top of the drop, haloed with 12 old European-cut diamonds. A teardrop-shaped moonstone set with a silver cap dangles below the halo. Each silver cap is pave’-set with two rose-cut diamonds. Bead-set around the moonstone drop in a horseshoe shape are 11 pave’-set, old European-cut diamonds, and two bezel-set rose-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh 2.70 carats in total, with VS2-I1 clarity and G-I color. The moonstones weigh 2.40 carats. The earrings are finished with shepherd’s hooks.
